Apple has released Mac Pro SMC Firmware Update 1.1. The SMC firmware update adjusts fan behavior in the Mac Pro, according to Apple. The update brings the Mac Pro’s SMC version to 1.7f10 for quad-core Mac Pros, or 1.5f3 for Mac Pro 8-core systems.
